Outdoor Mosaic
Let’s start the week off with some colourful expression and take advantage of the sunny outdoors while we still have the chance. In our next activity, create an outdoor mosaic using tape and sidewalk chalk. Remember, this is a family friendly activity, so work collaboratively and have fun!

1. Start off by creating a border using tape. Ask your child to help secure the tape to the floor by pressing it down.

2. Then with more tape, tape off sections within the border until you have you the desired number of segments for your mosaic.

3. Next, encourage your child to colour the exposed segments using sidewalk chalk. Don’t forget, that it's okay if they colour outside the lines, everything that they do is a learning experience for them and it’ll be perfect in their own way.
Variations: tape positive messages, tape your child's name, or encourage your child to make different patterns.
