PLASP Summary
PLASP is a charitable organization operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing accessible, affordable, high quality child care to all children, including those with diverse learning needs. PLASP provides early learning and child care services to over 15,000 children from over 13,000 families annually. School age programs include before and after school care, holiday camps and P.A. Day programs. PLASP also operates more than 30 Early Learning and Child Care Centres in Peel and Toronto for children ages 6 weeks to five years of age. Subsidies are available for families that qualify. In 2018, PLASP opened its first EarlyON Child and Family Centre at Shelter Bay Public School. EarlyON Centres provide inclusive and welcoming programs for caregivers and children up to 6 years of age.
