Our Award-Winning Team

All PLASP staff operating our Extended-Day Kindergarten Programs are RECEs (Registered Early Childhood Educators) who understand the needs of young children. They take the time to listen and play, providing a balanced program that supports and encourages children. Staff have a valid Standard First Aid Certificate and are required to successfully complete a specifically designed training program. Required training includes WHMIS and Food Safety, Health and Safety Essentials, Administration of Medication and Self Esteem Orientation. Staff must also pass a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check. For more information, read our program statement. Not all programs are available at all locations. Please use the "search for care" function to see what programs are available at each location.
