Protecting your information is a joint effort between PLASP and you. We place the highest priority on keeping your information secure and private, and have implemented information security processes. For example, PLASP uses secure firewalls and intrusion detection systems that keep a watchful eye over your information 24 hours a day. PLASP contracts with industry security professionals to routinely audit and test our systems for potential vulnerabilities and security risks. Information transmitted to and from our servers to your devices is done so through secure, encrypted connections.
However, despite such information security processes, a risk of loss or unauthorized access of data will always continue to exist. In no event shall PLASP Child Care services be liable for any damages resulting from loss of data, use or disclosure of data by a third party, or damage to your electronic devices.

There are steps that you can take to increase the security of your information. Here are a few best practices for keeping your information safe while using our website:

Avoid logging in to your parent account using public Wi-Fi networks and do not use public computers to access your PLASP account.

Never save your password to a device or computer that is not your own, and make sure to log out after every session.

Do not share your login information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account.

Update your browser as new versions become available, as browser updates may offer added security features. Use up to date Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware programs to help protect your computer, mobile device or tablet.
You are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. If you have lost your computer, tablet or mobile devices, or if you believe your PLASP parent account has been compromised, immediately log onto the PLASP web portal and change your password. If for any reason you cannot change your password, contact our Support Services team immediately at 647-484-4372 (toll free: 1-888-739-4102).
