Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement

PLASP Child Care Services is participating in the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement, which we refer to as CWELCC.

CWELCC is a landmark agreement for parents with children in our Early Learning and Child Care Programs. The upcoming fee reductions are substantial and are in effect for our eligible families in both the Region of Peel and City of Toronto.

The Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) Agreement will support Ontario families to achieve an average fee of $10 per day for children under the age of six by 2025 through phased reductions.

At this time, children under the age of six registered in before school care ONLY, are not eligible for a fee reduction due to the CWELCC $12 per day threshold.

The CWELCC program does not apply to children aged six to 12 years old.
