PLASP is the proud recipient of a recognition award for ongoing support of the United Way Peel. Over the past 20 years, PLASP staff raised more than half a million dollars to support United Way funded agencies.

”PLASP is a living example of the impact United Way has on our communities. When we opened our first three programs 43 years ago, it was with the help of United Way funding,” said Lynn, CEO. “That initial funding was an investment that has helped us grow into the organization we are today. So, over the past two decades, our staff have been ‘paying it forward’ through their donations and United Way support”.

PLASP employees donate through payroll deduction and by participating in an annual online silent auction. This campaign raises more than $45,000 annually.
