Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids key message at PLASP’s 2018 Annual Parent and Community Meeting
On Monday, October 29, 2018, PLASP welcomes keynote speaker Dr. Laura Markham, to our Annual Parent and Community Meeting at the International Centre in Mississauga. Dr. Laura is a clinical psychologist, author and AhaParenting.com creator. She has been interviewed in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Real Simple, Newsday, Parents Magazine and more. With more than 130,000 subscribers to her weekly email, Dr. Laura has helped thousands of families throughout the U.S. and Canada. She uses her relationship-based model Peaceful Parenting to teach families practical but compassionate strategies for parenting challenges that families encounter daily.
During the meeting, Dr. Laura will be speaking to PLASP parents and community partners using material from her book, Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids. In this not to be missed talk, she will highlight:
