Easy Homemade Bubbles – Engaging Children with Science while Staying Physically Active

Blowing bubbles is a great outdoor activity that many children love, but perhaps you’re running low on bubble mix, or are simply limiting the number of trips you take to the store. Here is an easy, homemade bubble recipe to replenish your supply!

What you will need:

  • Dish Soap 
  • Water 
  • Sugar 
  • Straws (preferably reusable) or bubble wands 

Process

  • Pour ½ cup of Dish Soap into a cup 
  • Add 1 ½ cup of water 
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar and add it to the soap and water 
  • Gently stir 
  • Enjoy and blow some bubbles!
