Painting with Cars
Your child will love making colourful track marks on their paper with their favourite toy cars or trucks. As your child dips his car in paint and rolls it around the paper, he/she will engage in cause and effect, developing their fine motor skills, exploring art materials, observing same and different as well as, using a pincer grasp.
Dip the wheels of the cars in paint then drive the cars on the paper making paint tracks!
Engaging with your child:
Get in there and play with your child. Make “vroom” noises while you play and drive the cars around on the paper leaving the paint as the track marks. Comment and talk about the different colours they are using and point out the different tracks styles that are made by the various cars, “This track has hard corners while this one has rounded edges.”
