Roll to 100! – A Math Activity

Rolling to one-hundred is a fun dice game that engages children in basic math concepts such as addition and subtraction. The object of the game is to roll the dice until each player gets to 100, while trying not to go over. This activity can be done indoors or outdoors and can either be a single player game or played with multiple players.

What you need:

  • 2 Dice
  • Paper
  • Writing Utensil (pen, marker, pencil)

Process:

  • Roll the dice.
  • Add the sum of the two dice and record it on a piece of paper.
  • Keep adding the total as you go until you reach exactly 100!

Tip: If you’re playing with more than one player, you can make it a friendly competition and race to see who can get to 100 first without going over.
