Building with Cups

Using plastic cups, let your child use their imagination to build, stack, and transfer. Independent building activities such as building with cups provokes creative thought process and also helps improve your child's everyday skills such as hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

What You will Need

  • Plastic Cups

*You can also add other building materials for example cereal boxes, empty containers, etc. to enrich your child’s play experience.

Engaging with Your Child

Once you introduce your child to the play materials (cups), let them independently explore themLater, enter in play by making a comment about their creation and allow your child to explain what they have built, Wow! I like the way you stacked the cups on top of each other, What are you building?
