Hula Hoop and Balls

Children need to be active every day in order to promote healthy growth and development. Children are more likely to carry on patterns of healthy lifestyle if the patterns are established early on in their lives. Burn off energy by keeping your child active and engaged using hula hoop and balls!

What You will Need

  • - Hula hoop

  • - Colourful balls in different sizes.

Process

The idea of this activity is to encourage your child to gather the balls around the space and place them inside the hula hoop.

  1. 1. Find space free of obstacles so your child can maneuver safely

  1. 2. Place the hula hoop on the floor and spread out the balls around the space.

Engaging with Your Child
