Engaging with Your Child

Set-up your activity and invite your child to playSit beside your child with materials of your own. Start conversation based on observing your child’s process, “you created red and blue swirls so perfectlyI’m going to make it just like yours”. This reinforces your child’s actions and shows them that the process can be repeated.
