Body-Brain Exercise
Are you ready to do something new to improve your memory, involve your senses and challenge your body? Today we’re going to do 4 body-brain exercises that can help to keep our brains strong and active. These exercises will stimulate your brain by activating both right and left hemispheres.
This activity is a light-hearted way to challenge our bodies to do two opposing actions at the same time. This helps to stimulate both sides of the brain while being physically active. Invite your child by saying “Let’s try some body-brain exercises”. Encourage your child by doing each exercise and ask them “Can you do this?”, children are inclined to imitate your actions. This is meant to be an enjoyable activity, if it is too difficult for your child, do one movement at a time and praise their efforts. Have some fun and ask them “Are there any other body-brain exercises you can do?”
