It’s Friday!! Are you ready for a fun active game today? Children need to be active every day to promote their healthy growth. Indoor and outdoor activities can provide this opportunity for them. Today we’re playing Penguin Waddle and all you need is a ball. 
 

What You will Need 


Process
 

  1. 1. Provide your child with a ball. 

  1. 2. Play your child’s favorite song. 

  1. 3. Place a ball between your legs. 

  1. 4. Begin to walk forwards and backwards while holding the ball. 

  1. 5. Walk left and right with the ball. 

  1. 6. Jump up and down, etc. 

  1. 7. Have fun! 


Engaging With Your Child
 

Being active with children while playing this Penguin Waddle game provides an opportunity to encourage physical activity. This game improves children's balance through their arms and legs, as well as increasing abdominal muscle activity. Strengthening and activation of these muscles can boost overall posture and coordination!
