Drinking enough water every day is very important for our health. This recipe introduces a new and refreshing flavour to children and encourages them to be open-minded about trying something new. Invite your child to prepare the ice cubes with you. Ask them to feel and smell the mint leaves. Give them time to observe and ask questions about the ingredients and the cycle that water will go through to prepare this drink. Find moments to enrich their language with words such as liquid, water, frozen, ice, mint, refreshing, hydrating, etc. Once it’s ready, do a taste test and see how your child likes it.
