Tuesday, October 18^th, 2022 is Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day. At PLASP Child Care Services, we have an amazing team of talented and dedicated child care professionals and on this day and every day, we thank them for all that they do to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families within our community. We invite parents and caregivers to thank the child care professionals in their lives today too!

PLASP CEO, Lynn Hiebert has this message to share with PLASP staff:

You, as early years professionals are the cornerstone of the primary educational experiences children in your care will have. As child care workers and early childhood educators, the time, attention, and high-quality learning opportunities you provide, sets the course for these young minds to aspire to be life-long learners.

I thank you wholeheartedly for your many contributions to children and families, particularly as we have seen so much change over the past two-and-a-half years. Your care provides a consistency that children thrive on and peace-of-mind to families who use our services.

As historic times for childcare unfold, I thank you for taking part in this piece of history with me and with PLASP. I look forward to thanking more of you in person as we continue our journey over the course of the year.
